L845 members at the Oregon State Capital building during a PERS reform work session. We stood along side hundreds of other firefighters from all over the state to let our representatives know that we are paying attention and do not support the proposed bills that would severely cut our retirement benefits.

Earlier this summer Senator Obama and Oregon Congressman Defazio came to Albany Oregon for a Presidential rally. Albanyfirefighters were called to provide medical support for the Obama team. After Senator Obama spoke we were able to meet the senator as well as have our picture taken with them.
